Luce-Angele is the daughter of Ignace Portneuf and Angelique Hannis. She married Louis Obomsawin dit O'Bomsawin on 10 August 1841, in St-Francois-du-Lac, Quebec. They are the parents of at least the following:
1) Victoria-de-Sales (1847- ) md Charles-Ambroise Lagrave
2) Louis-Napoleon (1852-1935) md Marie-Jeanne Wawanolet

She is also the great-grandmother of Joseph Emile Arthur Obomsawin through her son Louis-Napoleon.
