KING, MEANA - 65, of Rt. 1 Helenwood, Tenn. passed away at the Scott County Hospital Sunday, October 10, 1971 after an illness of twelve weeks.
She was the daughter of the late IOWA PHILLIPS and the late LAURA STRUNK PHILLIPS, a member of the Paint Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors, Husband, TALT KING of Rt. 1 Helenwood, Tenn. one sons, ELBERT KING of Rt. 1 Helenwood, Tenn. one brother, A.V. PHILLIPS of Rt. 1 Helenwood, Tenn.., one sister, PAIRLEA SEXTON of Rt. 1 Oneida, Tenn.; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the Paint Rock Baptist Church 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 1971 with the Rev. HAROLD DEAN ROSE and Rev. JAMES TERRY officiating. Burial followed in the Paint Rock Memorial Cemetery. West Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
