Lindell Keown, 84, of Indianapolis, a former resident of Warren County, died at 5 p.m. Saturday shortly after being admitted to Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born near Morgantown, Ky.
After residing in Warren County for a number of years, he returned to Morgantown, moving from there to Indianapolis seven months ago.
He was married in 1926 in Butler County, Ky., to Reva Abbott and she survives.
Mr. Keown was a retired employee of the old New York Central Railroad yards at Beech Grove. He was a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Quality, Ky.
Surviving with his widow are four daughters, Stelsa Raymer of Louisville, Ky., Dorothy Ashbrook and Betty Pruett, both of Indianapolis, and Lois June Abbott of Evansville, and two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Mayes of Indianapolis, and Janie Daube of Pennsylvania.
