Living in Nashville Izella was 92 years old and a widow when she passed away on July 16, 1992. {Her obituary listed her husband as a survivor, but that was incorrect: He died in 1945.}
Survivors included daughters Theresa Burke and Evelyn M White, son Holland R McPherson, brother Arlis Castleman in Springfield, Illinois, thirteen Grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on July 18th at Broadway Chapel of Roesch Patton Austin Bracey & Charlton Funeral Home, and burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
