Mary Underwood (wife of Thomas Miles. They were married July 14, 1785 in Reading, Middlesex, Mass.), was born Aug. 15, 1763 in Massachusetts, and died between 1840 - 1850. Some believe it is 1845. She is buried beside Thomas Miles at the Miles Cemetery in Blackford County, Indiana. No headstone marks her resting place. According to documents, both Thomas and Mary had no headstones and were only marked by shrubs. Thomas Miles has a headstone now, and perhaps the shrubs to the right of his headstone marks where Mary is buried
