Samuel Wallace, 70, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J.E. Nowlin, Greenacres. Mr. Wallace was a retired rancher, having lived near Cheney for a number of years.

Besides his widow, Clara, he is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Laura Miller, Deer Park; Mrs. Frank Quinn, Cheney; and Mrs. Nowlin; one son, Captain N.C. Wallace, of the Spokane Fire Department; and 2 sisters, Mrs. S.J. East, Chewelah; and Mrs. A.M. Daniels, of Deer Park; and 2 brothers, R.V. of Cheney; and J.L. of Carson, WA.

The funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning at the home at Greenacres, and interment will be in the Cheney Cemetery. Hazen-Jaeger's are in charge.
