Mrs. E. J. Collins, 69, well known and highly esteemed resident of Luzerne, died Wednesday afternoon at 2:10 at her home, 339 Charles Street, Luzerne. Deceased was formerly Mrs. Edwin Nancarrow and resided in Luzerne for many years.
Born in Cornwall, England, in 1865, she came to this country when a girl. Besides her husband she is survived by three children: Mrs. Clara Henninger of Luzerne, Edwin Nancarrow of Wyoming, Mrs. Russell Spencer of East Dallas; also by seven grandchildren: Edwin, Sterling, William and Leroy Henninger, Madeline Nancarrow, Mrs. Franklin LeGrand and Philip Spencer; two great-grandchildren, William Henninger and Peggy Ann LeGrand; a brother, Edward Markham of Wilkes-Barre, and a sister, Mrs. Luther P. Lamoreaux of Fernbrook.
The funeral will be held Satur-day afternoon at 4 with services at the home by Rev. Joshua Brundle and Rev. H. R. Brong, pastor of Courtdale M. E. Church. Interment will be in Forty Fort Cemetery.
