OBITUARY:
At a local hospital, July 22, Miss Lillian Applegate. Survivors are a sister, Miss Pearl Lucille Applegate of Salem, and two brothers, Ivan G. of Klamath Falls and Arthur Applegate of Walla Walla. Funeral service from the W. T. Rigdon Company chapel Saturday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m., Dr. Grover C. Birtchet officiating. Interment at I.O.O.F. cemetery.

LILLIAN APPLEGATE FUNERAL SATURDAY
Miss Lillian Applegate died at Salem General hospital yesterday morning, following a six-weeks' confinement there since she was struck by an automobile on a Salem street June 3. She had been in poor health previously. Miss Applegate, member of a pioneer family in the state, is survived by a sister, Miss Pearl Applegate of Salem and two brothers, Ivan G. Applegate of Klamath Falls, and Arthur Applegate of Walla Walla. The funeral services are to take place Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the W. T. Rigdon chapel, with Dr. Grover C. Birtchet of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. cemetery.
