Donald Stieg, age 85, of Burnsville died March 19, 2022.
Don was born in Richardton ND.
Don thoroughly enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, playing cards and finding the best deals at garage sales. Our memories of Don is one of sweets! sweets! sweets! He never met a sweet he didn't like. Don always volunteered when everyone had a project to complete. If you needed a tool, of course, he had it. You just had to decide between the 5 options he had because he had every size, shape and color of every tool. He loved to search for treasures at garage sales, you just had to put in your request with him. He enjoyed going to his grandkids sports games. Family gatherings were a blast because he loved to hear and tell jokes. He was a wicked card player and most memorably entertaining all of us kids and grandkids by wiggling his ears. Don enjoyed a long standing Saturday morning tradition of having breakfast with his brother-in-laws Howard and Al for many years and playing cards weekly with Howard, Al, Eleanore and his wife, Betty.
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years (Elizabeth) Betty and his children Craig (Diane) Stieg, Cindy (Royce) Rader, Cathy (Dale) Womeldorf and Christy (Brian Klotz) Stieg; grandchildren Kayti, Angie, Maureen, Michelle, Andrew, Jake, Courtney, Zac, Sammi, Hannah, Tyler, Adam; great-grandchildren Emma, Skyler, Kylee, Tayden, Parker, Aubrey, Isabelle, Olivia and Brielle.
