Marjorie Marie Worley, 82, of Stanardsville, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 20, 1940, in Charlottesville, VA, the daughter of the late George Conley and Naomi Ruth Roach.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Worley; and sister, Georgianna Lam.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Patsy Knight (Alvis), Wayne Roach (Betty), Lorene Roach, Donnie Roach (Donna), Linda Morris (Joe Neil), and Lisa Taylor (Rodney); sisters, Ruby Collier and Helen Morris; grandchildren, Alvis Knight, Jr., Keith Roach, Ozzie Roach, Jessica Roach, Michael Roach, Katelyn Wolfe, Brandon Morris, who she raised as her own, Chrissy Chu, Timmy Shifflett, and Heather Shifflett; great-grandchildren, Keira Roach, Kingston Roach, Kalaya Roach, Kalani Roach, Madelyn Roach, Olivia Roach, Kaidance Jenkins, Kiersten Jenkins, Lynnlee Wolfe, Eli Chu, Ender Chu; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail Ruckersville, VA 22968. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home with Pastor Wendell Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens. Ryan Funeral Home of Ruckersville is in charge of arrangements.
