Anne was born on January 11, 1948, in Darby, Pennsylvania, and grew up in Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. She graduated high school from Holy Child Sharon in 1965, and earned a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics from Rosemont College in 1969. She married Greg in 1970 and his US Navy career moved them around the country many times in the 1970s and early 80s. They had four children and later settled in Morris Plains, New Jersey, where she lived for nearly 30 years.
Anne was a computer programmer from the nascent days of the computer science field, working at Bridgeport Machines, ADT Security Systems and Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) (now part of HP Enterprises). She was hard-working and well-respected as a leader by her colleagues, and ultimately became a partner at CSC before she retired in 2010.
Anne loved going for walks, reading good books, enjoying summer days in Ocean City, NJ and traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a generous and devoted mother, close with her brothers and cousins, and is remembered for her kind and loving spirit and her keen intellect. She will be very much missed by her family.
Anne is survived by her brother Frank Mulcahy of Roswell, Georgia; four children and their spouses (Tom and Nicky Quillinan of Wharton, New Jersey; John and Tina Quillinan of Long Beach, California; Kevin and Debbie Quillinan of Vero Beach, Florida; and Kathy and Andrew Nothstine of London, United Kingdom); and six grandchildren (Ciara, Jack, Ella, Flynn, Elodie and Rémy).
Anne will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wharton, New Jersey.
