"Laura Lee Parish was my father's birth mother but through DNA testing we have found that his birth father was Robert Lonnie Edwards. Laura Lee was separated from her husband (Paul Stone) at the time she got together with Bobby. Due to the stigma it would have been at the time, Laura Lee put her still legal husband down as the father. Can you update the page please. He was the second son adopted by Joan Crawford. The original Christopher was returned to his birth mother. When Joan and her then husband, Phillip Terry, adopted this son, he was originally named Phillip. After they divorced, he remained with Joan, who then changed his name to Christopher as well as changing his birthdate to October 15th. This was done for fear of him being taken from her.
Christopher was estranged from his adoptive mother from early adulthood up until her death in May 1977. He was married twice. His frst marriage produced three children. His second marriage to his wife Gail, produced a daughter named Chrystal. They along with his adopted siblings Christina, Cindy and Cathy survive him.
According to his son Brad he passed away from cancer in Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, New York. He was just shy of his 63rd birthday.
