Allan F. Watson, 81, of Wade, MS, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Mobile, AL. Allan was born in Electric Mills, MS on October 17, 1940 to the late John Orion and Katherine Davis Watson.
Allan served four years in the United States Navy. He later graduated from General Electric. Using the skills he acquired, Allan worked as an Electronic Supervisor at Ingalls Shipbuilding for 35 years before his retirement. He was a true handyman and could fix anything. His family will forever treasure all the times they spent together drinking coffee.
In addition to his parents, Allan is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Smith Watson, his infant son, Allan Dale Watson, and his siblings, Cora (Ed) Baum, Eugene (Jimmie) Watson, James (Barbara) Watson, Paul Watson, Billy Watson, and Tommy Watson.
He is survived by his children, Cindy Watson, Robin (Bud) Webb, and Julie (Eddie) Baxter; grandchildren, Logan and Danielle Baxter; and siblings, Katherine Harris, Glen Watson, Douglas Watson, and Danny Watson; sisters in law, Levert and Sue Watson; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula, MS with John Watson officiating.
