Mr. John O. ("Billy") Watson, Jr., 84, of Pascagoula, MS, passed from this life Friday, April 12, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 3, 1929 in Kemper County, MS.
Mr. Watson was a Pipefitter and retired member of The Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 568. He was a member of Liberty Church in Gautier. A hardworking, loving husband and father, he will be greatly missed. His greatest pleasure in this life was to be with his family at home laughing and spending time together.
In addition to his parents, John O. (Katherine) Watson, Sr., he was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Watson Baum of Pascagoula and brothers, Eugene D. Watson of Gautier, Thomas H. Watson of Moss Point and Paul N. Watson of Wade.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 59 years, Mrs. Levert Watson of Pascagoula; children, Pam (Danny) Lindsey; Paul (Patricia) Watson; Michael (Carol Ann) Watson, Sr.; John (Lisa) Watson; Jeff (Paige) Watson; 11 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine Watson Harris; brothers, James H. Watson, Allan F. (Buddy) Watson, Glenn D. Watson, Douglas M. Watson and Daniel S. (Danny) Watson; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mr. Watson will be held 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point. The service will be officiated by Rev. David Watson and Rev. John Watson. Pallbearers are Paul Watson, Jr., Brett Watson, Michael Watson, Andrew Watson, Daniel Lindsey, Tyler Watson, Carl Neal and Cameron Clay. Honorary pallbearers are Will Watson, Jaydon Watson and Clay Neal. Special music is provided by Lauren Emswiler Watson.
