Passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Imelda was born on July 31, 1931 to the late John A. & Mary Gordon Kunkler.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Junction City American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 376, New Lexington Eagles Auxiliary 2070 and Lady Knights of Columbus.
Imelda is survived by her 3 daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Donald O'Farrell, 2nd husband John Smeltzer, sister; Mary Ann (John) Eberly, brothers; Ambrose Kunkler, William Kunkler, Al (Kay) Kunkler, Bernard Kunkler and a sister in law, Janet Kunkler.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2022 at the CHUTE-WILEY Funeral Home, 118 S. Jackson Street, New Lexington with Rosary at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1170 St. Rt. 668 S, Junction City. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Road, Newark, Ohio 43055.
