ADDISON, Ruby, age 96, of Middletown, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties where she had been a patient for three days. She was born September 9, 1925 in Oklahoma and moved to Ohio when she was one year old. Ruby graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1944. She was a Clerk at the Kresge Store, and then was employed in production at Raymond Bag and then Frigidaire, then General Motors. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Ruby was a very giving person. She loved her family and her church family. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, sewing and crocheting. Preceding her in death were her mother, Clara (Start) Belcher; her husband, Hubert Addison in 1989; two sons, Rocky and Corky Addison; one grandson, Chad Selby; her twin sister, Ruth Smith; and one brother, James Belcher. She is survived by four children, Rosie (John) Pate, Barbara Sparkman, Sandy (Jack) Booth and Randy Addison; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Lily "Jean" Wills; one brother, Morton (Flora) Short; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 215 S. Sutphin St., Middletown, Ohio 45044, followed by services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Adam Proffitt officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the church. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
