Albert Marowski, of South Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at his residence.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, May 8, 1904, he was the son of the late Charles and Ursula Marowski.
He resided in the area his entire life and was graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre. Prior to his retirement in 1969, he was employed as a printer for 47 years by the former Wilkes-Barre Publishing Co., Wilkes-Barre.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Wilkes-Barre. He and his wife, the former Sophia Paviak, celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on Dec. 31, 1997.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Donald Marowski, New York City. N.Y.; daughter, Nancy Newmark, Wilkes-Barre; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday from the Bednarski Funeral Home, 27 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Wyoming.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Wake services will be 7 p.m. today with the Rev. Theodore L. Obaza officiating.
