STANFORD - Elmer Griffin, 71, of Stanford, died Saturday (Dec 8, 2007).
Born Feb. 5, 1936, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Raymond and Reva Foley Griffin. He was head mechanic for Owens Chevrolet for more than 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Hale Griffin of Stanford; a son, Elmer Ray Griffin (Tammy) of Junction City; a daughter, Sondra Griffin of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold McLaren. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
