Leo is the son of John F. & Nettie (Whittenberg) Hughey. He married Kathleen Ward.

LEO HUGHEY
Leo Hughey, 84, died June 14, 1995 at Greenville Health Care Center in Greenville, MO.
He was born at Hiram, Mo Aug. 20, 1910, son of the late John and Nettie Hughey.

Leo was united in marriage to Kathleen Ward Sept. 16, 1933 and she survives.

Other survivors include one son Bill G. Hughey of Greenville; two brothers Buford Hughey, Fredericktown, MO and Eugene Hughey, Irvington, NY and seven grandchildren.
Leo worked for 36 years with the Missouri State Training School as a business manager.

The funeral was held Sun. June 18, 1995 at 2pm at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville, MO with Rev. Bill Sargent officiating. Music provided by Ron and Cindy Wood and Oresta Atnip. The pallbearers were Allen Bogar, Rich Hughey, Brent Hughey, Richard Hughey, Sean Hughey, Jerry Hughey. Honorable pallbearers were Robert Libla, Lee Golden, Willis Costephens, Roy Willard. Burial was at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hiram, MO.
