Services will be 2 p.m. Tues. at Riverside United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. at Berkemier Funeral Home.
Mr. Merryman was born 17 Jan. 1924, in Sioux City.
He married Dollie Sandage on 3 Feb. 1944, at Sioux City, IA.
He worked for the Milwaukee Railroad & the Sioux City Terminal Railroad for 30 years. After retiring, he worked for Larry Book Construction Co. for 6 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dollie; 2 sons Farrel (Leigh) of sergeant Bluff, IA. & Rodger (Vicki) of Sioux City; a daughter, Diane (Ronald "Red") Coulter of Sioux City; 2 brothers, Charles (Helen) of Sioux City & Richard (Joyce) of South Sioux City, NE.; a sister, Edith Mahnke of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; & 4 great-grandchildren.
