A homemaker, she served as chairwoman of a Northeast Portland rationing board during World War II and had been a member of St. James Lutheran Church for the past 25 years. Her husband died previously.
Survivors include her son, A. Kent of Lake Oswego; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her son Ray A. died in the mid-1980s.
