HICKS--Mrs. Mary F. Hicks, aged 83, died at the residence 1812 Gold street, yesterday after a week's illness with pneumonia. She is survived by four children, Mrs. C. E. Green, Barney Hicks, William Hicks, Wichita; and L. W. Hicks, Elk City, Okla. She came to Wichita four years ago. No funeral arrangements have been made. The body is in charge of the Wichita Undertaking company.∼ Mary F. McCully first married William M. Sumpter on April 18, 1852 in Randolph County, MO. She later married John A. Hicks on October 30, 1860, also in Randolph County, MO.
