Susan was the 14th child and 4th daughter of William Dudley Abbott & Mahulda Kirby Abbott. Her twin brother died at birth and is also buried in the Price Cemetery. Susan married Ephriam Jones of the neighborhood and they had four children: Elmer Franklin, Alva Ernest, Edna Browning and Bertha Mae. After Susan's death, Ephriam moved to Gales Creek, Oregon where he died March 1918.
