Mahulda was born in Randolph County, MO and died at the home of her granddaughter Mrs Grace McCollum. she married 8 July 1838 W.D. Abbott in Monroe County. Lived in Huntsville MO area near Moberly about eight years. 18 Feb 1846 to Macon County MO and April 1854 to North Salem Township, Linn County MO. She and her husband lived together for nearly fifty eight years. Sixteen children born, four girls and twelve boys. Six survive, A.A. Abbott, Cleveland OH; T.B. Abbott, Binger, OK; B.F. Abbott, Salt Lake City Utah; Caroline Ratliff, Ethel MO; Martha Fulton and G.H. Abbott of Long Mont, CO. She was a charter member of the Winigan Baptist Church. Services and burial Bethel.(If this is the wrong Bethel cemetery for Mahulda, please correct me.)
