Mr. Earnest Pender Jr. was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Earnest Pender Sr.; and the late Willie Mae Black.
Earnest served in the US Army after High School. He returned back to Baldwin, Florida after his discharge. He was employed by Pic N Save for 29 years, until he became disabled in 1996. Earnest body was disabled, but his mind and mouth was always in the mood; he as Jacksonville greatest talker. If you were short on time, do not start a conversation with him, he was knowledgeable and informative. He loved sports of all kind, If watching grass grow was a sport, He would be all in.
Earnest was preceded in death by his (Father) Earnest Pender Sr. His (Mother) Willie Mae Black, (brothers) Jerome Pender, and twin brothers, Donnell and Connell Black.
Ernest leaves to cherish his memory, His devoted wife; Earlene (W, Pender, (Daughter) Constance O. Pender;(sons) Kevin A Williams (Denise); Michael T. Williams and his 4 legged son Bailer Pender. Grandchildren: Marcel Williams, Marcus Williams, Dominquie Williams; Keyanna Williams, Jamario Williams. Great-Grandchildren: Ashlie Williams, Twin: Marcel and Malik Williams. Brothers: Jessie Pender, Carl Pender (Roselind); Sisters: Joann Postell; Deborah A. Black; Felicia Levins. (Aunts) Edna Brown, Francis Shannon, Bernadetta Shannon, (Uncle) Robert Holland. And a host of nieces, nephews, and many sorrowing friends.
Mr. Pender may be viewed Friday, February 18, 2022, at Carthage Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 1759 Rowe Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32208 and the interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
