Dianah K. Davis, age 27, of Charlevoix, Michigan, formerly of Mio, Michigan, passed away into the arms of the Lord unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, February 22, 2022, in Niceville, Florida.

Dianah was born at Tolfree Memorial Hospital on January 21, 1995, in West Branch, Michigan. She is the daughter of the late Douglas K. Davis, Sr. of Mio, who passed away in 2018.

Moving to Mio from Secord Township-Gladwin in 2006, Dianah had a joyful youth growing up in the Mio area where she made many friends. Dianah eventually graduated from Mio High School in 2014 and worked as a CNA around the Charlevoix and Petoskey Areas the last three years.

As many knew Dianah, she enjoyed her next laugh as much as she enjoyed making others laugh around her. Everyone knew when Dianah was nearby just by her laugh alone. Dianah is remembered as very caring and who would go out of her way to make sure people were okay. It is also said she could bring such a fun and positive energy to any room she walked into that you couldn't help but smile. She was quite the social butterfly; though never embarrassed or ashamed, she always said what was on her mind. Dianah also loved spending time with her daughter, walking the beaches of Lake Michigan, fishing, and taking any adventure she could be a part of.

Left to treasure Dianah's memory, strength, and ambition are her mother, Deborah Schmidt of Texas; stepmother, Linda Smith; precious daughter, Pebbles and her father, Matthew Rembisz; all of Mio; her brother, Douglas K. Davis, Jr. of Mount Pleasant; her sisters, Sarah L. and Marie Allingston, both of Saginaw; her grandmother, Sharon Schmidt of Saginaw; her grandfather, Jack (Pat) Schmidt of Saginaw; stepgrandfather, Robert Weaver of Gladwin; her uncles, Donald K. Davis of Luzerne; James R. (Cathy) Schmidt of Merrill; her nephews and niece, Braxton, Zayden, and Zoë; her great-aunt, Sandra (Charles) Bonow of Lewiston, MN; along with many cousins and her best friend, Kayla Fisher of Mio. Dianah also leaves behind her beloved and long endeared dog of 17 years, Little Dude.

Dianah finds peace and comfort rejoicing with her father, but also is predeceased by her grandparents, Donald F. and Janet C. Davis and a nephew, Malik.

Honoring the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be conducted by Pastor Roy Angel on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the Mio Community Center, 305 E. 9th St., Mio, Michigan 48647.
