Was the wife of the late Samuel Harper and Wesley Gross. She was born in New Washington, IN to James Hopper & Kizziah Sheppard. According to a newspaper column she was buried in Scottsburg Cemetery and died at her daughter's place in Indiana. As for her husband Sam, they were married in 1867 around Scott County, Indiana and had six kids. From what I can gather, Sam was a Civil War Vet from Kentucky who passed away in 1886 from a mysterious death.

*Update (9/4/22)- I updated Lucinda's birth date since the 1880 US Census lists her as being born in 1845 not 1822. Personally, I find this a more accurate age since Lucy would have been in her early to mid-50s (if she was born 1822) when she had most of her kids which is highly unlikely.
