Thomas Ballard, aged 68 years, 10 months and 27 days, died early Wednesday morning, January 8th, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Charles Dewey at Riverdale.
Mr. Ballard was a native of California and had lived in Lemoore for about 30 years, or more. He was in the employ of McGlashan Bros., on their west side ranch for a number of years, and later worked for Brownstone's magazine store, in Lemoore, resigning his position several months ago on account of ill health.
Surviving relatives are one brother, J.L. Ballard, of Riverdale, and four sisters, Mrs. M. F. Frerichs, of Tracy, Mrs. F. A. Williamson and Mrs. Chs. Dewey of Riverdale, Mrs. Paul Harris, of Walker, Tehama County.
Funeral services will be held from the Phipps Chapel, Lemoore, Friday, at 10 a.m. the Rev. M. S. McGee in charge of funeral services. Interment will be in the Lemoore cemetery.
