York - Barry L. Perkinson, 78, entered into rest Wednesday February 16, 2022 at his home.

A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Cemetery on Starcross Road with Rev. Charles Topper officiating. Full military rites will be presented by the York Co. Veteran Honor Guard. The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting with the arrangements.

Mr. Perkinson was born May 5, 1943 in York, a son of the late Russell J. and Edith B. (Kibler) Perkinson. He was a graduate of York Catholic High School and was retired from Caterpillar. Inc. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Patrick Church. Barry loved watching sports on TV, especially football, going to horse races, playing cards, and walking. He was known to purchase turkeys at the holidays to donate to food banks.

Barry is survived by a sister Betty Jane Anderson; a sister-In-law Ruth Perkinson; nieces, nephews, loving extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
