ADA JOHNSON BURDETTE, age 76 of Newton Grove, N. C. and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Friday, February 6, 1998 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C. Born on October 24, 1921 in Randolph County, Indiana she was the daughter of Cyrus & Clara (Climber) Johnson. She had retired in 1979 from Dana Corporation in Richmond, Ind. and moved to North Carolina in 1996.
Survivors: Husband: Stanley Burdette of Newton Grove, N.C.; Son: Gary Burdette of Fairfield, Ohio; Daughter: Lora Lehman of Newton Grove, N.C.; Sisters: Sarah Welge of Butler, Ill. And Edith Guthrie of Muncie, Ind.; Brother: Phillip Johnson of Lynn, Ind.; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
