BANKS, Carrie (Watkins) Age 92 of Trotwood, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, the 31st day of December, 2007. Carrie was born in Cavebranch, Kentucky on October 5, 1915 to Weed and Francis Watkins, who precede her in death. Carrie looked forward to the Spring of the year so she could put out her garden and sow her flowers. She attended the Moraine Heights Baptist Church for many faithful years. She is also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Cleveland and seven of her 13 children; Five sons, Junior, Jim, John, Paul and Gary and two daughters Stellia and Wanda. Carrie is survived by her devoted family, which includes her sons and their wives James and Ann Banks of West Alexandria; Pat and Faye Banks; Carl Banks, all of Dayton; daughters and their husbands June lsenhower, Mary and Ron Myers, all of Englewood; Mae and Kenny Fleenor of Clayton; one dear brother Billy Watkins of Middletown; daughter-in-law Shirley Banks; grandchildren Tammy Dailey, Kari Sheilds, Kris Rodgers, Shelly (Paul) Graici, Andy Banks, Stephannie (Shane) Coatsworth, Dion (Elizabeth) Myers, Rhonda (Matt) Leonard, Tracy Myers, Amber (Wendall) North, April (James) Mosley, Tony Banks and Christina Banks and a host of great grandchildren and many special friends that she made during her life. A Thursday evening Funeral will be held at 7:30 PM at the ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, NEW LEBANON. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Watkins Family Cemetery in Campton, KY. Carrie will certainly be missed by everyone that she met during her life.
