JEFFRIES, MILTON ERVIN - age 80, of Maryville, died 5:07 p.m. Monday, April 28, 1997, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church for 47 years. Retired from ALCOA with 38 years of service.
Preceded in death by parents, Fred Milton and Louise Dunlap Jeffries; aunt, Josephine Dunlap.
Survivors include wife, Louise Jeffries; sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Barbara Jeffries of Nolensville, Mike and Sandy Jeffries of Maryville; son, Norman Jeffries of Alcoa; daughter, Kathy Reagan of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise Harper of North Carolina, Norma Jones and Ernestine Daniel, both of Maryville.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 1997, at Middlesettlements United Methodist Church with REv. Charles McKinney officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
