He was a devoted father, and shared memories with his son, Freddie, of cheering on the Colts at their games, camping, watching IU v Illinois basketball games and fun trips. Fred shared 28 years of marriage with Teresa, who he loved to spoil and would often sing "You are So Beautiful" to her. Fred was blessed with a large and loving family, surrounded by his many grandchildren whom he adored. Those around him knew to always have a comeback ready for his cheesy jokes. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with family. He will be deeply missed as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, teacher, and friend.
