Mr. Editor:
Please allow me a small space in your valuable paper.
On the 20th and 21st ult. Mrs. Dr. J. A. Bomar and daughter died of typhoid pneumonia, leaving another another one of the family very low with the same disease; but by the last statement we understand he was promising very favorable of his recovery. Houston county lost one of her best members, for whom we mourned the loss about three years ago. The doctor was one of the best physicians our county ever had. But we offer our sympathies, to a greater extent, to the mother and a family of helpless children to be separated and left alone in the world to mourn the loss of the best parents. But we hope they will fall into the hands of good people who will respect them as orphan children. May they walk in the virtue that they may be a happy family together again.
Mrs. Bomar, and daughter, are presumed to be buried beside her husband.
