KELLY, NORWOOD R., 65, of Savannah, Ga., died Wednesday in an Augusta, G., nursing home. A native of Whitwell, Tenn., he had lived in Savannah for the past 38 years. Survivors include his wife, Ann Hoge Kelly, Savannah; three sons, Rixey Kelly III, Birmingham, Ala., Mark H. Kelly, Madison, Ga., and Paul L. Kelly, West LaFayette, Ind.; stepmother, Mildred Kelly Coley, Whitwell; sister, Claryce Farrell, Cookeville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services were held Sunday at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Funeral Home in Savannah. Local services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Tuesday at Kelly’s Chapel Presbyterian Church in Powells Crossroads, Tenn., with the Rev. William Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Powells Crossroads. The body will be at the church 30 minutes before the service and the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. CDT Tuesday at Hooper Funeral Home, Whitwell.
