Deborah Ann Ruff was the daughter of Charles Frederick Ruff Jr and Barbara Ann Braumann.
Deborah had been battling cancer for the past couple of years and her health took a sharp decline and she was admitted to the hospital. Upon being admitted to the hospital she tested positive with COVID. She survived her battled with COVID, but, her brother was told his sister was at her final stages with cancer. The other day they retested her and the COVID was out of her system and she was taken to a facility for comfort care in her final days.
Debbie lived on Long Island her entire life. She never married, though she gave birth to three girls at a young age and they were given up for adoption. One of her daughters recently discovered her mother through DNA testing and only just saw her mother for the first time as an adult. She was allowed to visit her mother and introduced herself. She kissed her biological mother and received a couple more kisses back from her. Charlie and I only wished they could of had more time together.
She is survived by her newly found daughter MKS and son-in-law SMS Jr. & their two young daughters AMS, RJS all of Long Island. Deborah is also survived by her devoted older brother Charles F Ruff III and his wife Eugenia Bonnie B. Ruff of Biloxi, MS.
6 Sep 2022 another daughter reached out and said she believes Debbie was her mother. With the information she had, We now welcome EG to the family and in process of connecting her with her half sibling MKS. So happy that the babies of Debbie were adopted by good families.
