ALEXANDRIA, Ind.--Robert R. (Rube) Patz, 80, 1302 W. First St., died Saturday in Community Hospital, Anderson, after a 2-year illness.
Mr. Patz was a lifetime resident of Alexandria. He retired in 1965 from the National Gypsum Corp. plant here, after 40 years of employment.
Survivors include his wife, Madeline; two sons, Robert G. Patz and Virgil Patz, both of Alexandria; two brothers, Carl Patz, Alexandria, and Albert Patz, Salem, Ore.; a sister, Mary Goodpasture, Anderson; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Owens Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Owens officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery. Calling will be at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
