Judith K. Miller, age 78, of Chesterfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Beaumont Rehabilitation Center in Anderson following a brief illness. Judy was born in Elwood on October 29, 1943 to the late Edith (Henry) and Leroy Abplanalp.

Judy worked for several years as a sorter for the Hope Well Center in Anderson. She was an avid bowler and loved participating in her weekly bowling league. Known for her outgoing personality, Judy enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends.

Judy is survived by her sister, Joan (Bill) Gordon; sister-in-law, Brenda Abplanalp; nieces and nephews, Kelly McClish, Marie (Tommy) Beaty, Bobby Gordon, David and Glen Abplanalp, Terri Walthers, Scott (Kacie) Hilligoss, and Lori Blackford; great-nieces and nephews; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and her long-time caregiver and friend, Diane Turner.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Leroy Abplanalp; brother, Gerald Abplanalp; great-niece Samantha Humphries; and great-great-niece, Nora Marie Poor.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home, 305 East Sigler Street, Frankton, IN 46044. A funeral service celebrating Judy's life will be held immediately following the visitation at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bob Preusz officiating. Burial will follow in the K. of P.- I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Frankton.
