Gerald "Jerry" Leroy Abplanalp, 70, of Anderson, passed away on April 18, 2020, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
He was born on Aug. 5, 1949, to Leroy and Edith Abplanalp in Elwood, Indiana.
Jerry graduated from Frankton High School. He retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors, having worked in production. Jerry enjoyed sports and bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Abplanalp; sons, David and Glen Abplanalp; stepchildren, Terri (Brian) Walters and Scott (Kacie) Hilligoss, and Lori Blackford; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Bill) Gordon and Judy Miller; several nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Edith Abplanalp.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no services.
