Mr. Singer served in the United States Navy from June 1955 to July 1958. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree and began teaching at Franklin High School and later retired from the insurance business. He loved coaching and watching all sports and even had a collection of sports memorabilia.
Four children, daughter, Lisa Crooks of New Palestine, sons, Jeff Singer of New Palestine, Mark (Lori) Singer of McCordsville, and Brett Singer of Lyman, South Carolina; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in passing by his brothers Bob Singer, David Singer, and Don Blessinger.
