"The Seniorite" Silver Anniversary booklet, Class of 1948 published in 1973: Don is single but busy as any married man, managing a 22 story building with 300 apartments that is being converted into an office complex. This new responsibility is with the same employer for the last 3 years, just leaving the managership of the Bayshore Royal Hotel in Tampa Florida. For some years, Don pursued the musical trade, selling instruments and owning/operating music stores. He plans to visit in Huntingburg later this summer.

Donald W. Blessinger, 77, Cocoa Beach, Florida, died July 17, 2007, in Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida.

He was born at Huntingburg July 16, 1931, to Walter Blessinger and Pearl Cato Singer and was raised by his stepfather, Gilmore W. Singer.

Surviving are a sister, Marcia Singer and brothers, David and Wayne Singer.

Mr. Blessinger was a 1948 graduate of Huntingburg High School and attended Indiana University, where he was a twirler for the Marching 100 Band. He served in the U.S. Army in Japan during the Korean War.

The body will be cremated.
