William Carroll Beverly, son of John and Mary Beverly of North Carolina and Bullock Co AL, married Miss Fannie Ford on Dec 29 1853 in Macon, Alabama.

He was a Civil War Veteran. He served in the AL 7th Inf Reg. and the AL 13th Reg. Co I (Nicknamed The Roanoke Mitchell Invincibles) led by Capt. Julian C. B. Mitchell.
