Rev. Alta Herbert Alexander, Jr. age 93 of Marion, KY passed away February 1, 2022, at Crittenden Community Hospital.

Brother Alexander had pastored Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church for over 45 years and had served at several other churches. He was also a farmer.

He is survived by his son, Tony (Kay) Alexander, Marion, KY; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason Sisco) Camp, Justin (Jennifer Travis) Alexander, Shannon Alexander and Sherry (Scott) Pruitt; great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Harbour Camp and Cody and Bella Pruitt; sister, Ruth Flener, Kansas City, MO and daughter-in-law, Brenda Alexander.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Alta Herbert and Birdie Virginia Petcock Alexander, Sr.; wife, Rachel Mae Arflack Alexander, daughter, Peggy Alexander and son, Larry Alexander.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, KY at a date yet to be determined. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
