Betty L. Stafford, age 76, of Minerva and formerly of Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Aultman Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Betty was born March 26, 1931, in Wintersville, OH, to the late Mary and Jack C. Hinerman. She grew up on her family's farm in Harlem Springs, OH, and attended Harlem Springs and Carrollton schools.

Betty and her former husband, Lee E. Stafford, Jr., had two children.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by her son Michael L. Stafford and Jean Kirby of North Canton; daughter Christine Stafford Moore and husband Thomas Moore of Jackson Twp., Canton; one sister, Mary Lou Schoeneman, of North Canton; two brothers, Eugene Hinerman and Dale Hinerman (Juanita), both of Carrollton; also survived by many nieces, nephews; three step-granddaughters; one step-grandson; and eleven step great-grandchildren.

Betty retired from PCC Airfoils, Minerva.

Betty's family especially thanks Leanna of Angels Care Home Health, Lisa Batcho, Doreen Campbell and employees of Kishman's IGA who offered care and support to Betty during her illness.

Funeral Services will be held in the Bartley Funeral Home at noon on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 with Mr. Gene Dietz officiating. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 am until noon. Burial will be in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
