HINERMAN, Eugene "Gene," 83, of Carrollton (Harlem Springs), died Saturday evening in Mercy Medical Center at Canton.
Born Feb. 24, 1929, in Coburn, WV, he was a son of the late Jackson and Mary Gump Hinerman.
Gene was retired from the Operating engineers Local 18 of Akron as a crane operator.
He is survived by two sons, Rick (Valerie) Hinerman of Dundee, OH, Randy (Michelle) Hinerman of Carrollton, two daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Ohler of Carrollton, Kathy (Greg) King of Carrollton; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, one brother, Dale Hinerman of Carrollton; one sister, Mary Lou "Dolly" Schoeneman of Canton; his best friend and companion, Donna Wells and family of Carrollton.
Gene was preceded in death by his wife, former Doris Marie Ray, seven sisters and two brothers are also deceased.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Tom Maley officiating. Burial will follow in the Harlem Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in Gene's name to the donor's favorite charity.
