Doris Jean Anderson Moore of North Wilkesboro, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

She was born July 28, 1938 in Wilkes County to Robert Hance and Martha Ann Holland Anderson.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Carl Ray Moore; sons, Randy Carl "Catfish" Moore and Rodney Steven Moore; grandson, Ryan Seth Moore; seventeen brothers and sisters.

Surviving is her children, Ronald "Petey" Ray Moore of Wilkesboro, Terry Edward Moore and spouse Kim of Roaring River, Lisa Jean Long and spouse Gary of Morganton, Martha Renee Wood and spouse Lane of Wilkesboro, Roger Daniel Moore and spouse Judy of Millers Creek, Brian Keith Moore and Harrison Matthew "Matt" Moore and spouse Mary all of Wilkesboro, Michael Scott "Scotty" Moore and spouse Mindy of Hershey, Pennsylvania; special grandchild, Stephanie Nicole Sampson and spouse Michael of North Wilkesboro; sister, Sharon "Kay" Meldolf of Roaring River; seventeen grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
