Nellie Stephens Threadgill, age 82 of Florala,Alabama passed away January 28, 2022. She was born July 17, 1939 in Hacoda the daughter of Clarence Alvin Stephens and Annie Winnie Smith Stephens. Nellie live life to the fullest whether it was cooking her homemade biscuits for family, traveling with friends or spending time with her grandchildren (she loved being their Granny) and she loved every second of it. Nellie faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the Faith. She finished the race.
She was preceded in death by sons, Carlton and Charles Gaines; father, Clarence Alvin Stephens; mother, Annie Winnie Smith Stephens; brothers, John, Marvin, Clarence, and Jessie Stephens; sisters, Margie Bishop and Irma Watson.
Funeral 2PM Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
