Obituary - Sallie Morris was born in 1816 and died in the residence of her brother C.W.B. Jackson, on March 7, 1904. She was married to Marion Morris in Grace County, N.Y. , came to Missouri in the Fall of 1858, professed a hope in Christ at about the age of 20 years and united with the Primitive Baptist Church and was baptized by Eld W.A. Bowden. Her church membership at the time of her death was with Round Spring Church. For 68 years Aunt Sally lived (typo as?) a devoted, pious and faithful church member. She loved the Truth and was firmly established in the Faith once delivered to the saints. During her fatal illness, all that medical skill and loving hands could do, was done for her, but none could stay the hand of death. The Great Giver of all good, called her from the conflicts, toils and cares of her life to her long-sought home. Her body was borne to New Hope Church by her own request, and Eld. L.A. Green spoke a few words comforting the bereaved ones, after which the remains were laid to rest in New Hope Cemetery - J.H. White
