Mrs. Alta Inez Horton, age 75, of Forrest City, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis. She was born June 30, 1932, in St. Charles, he daughter of Arguyland Daniel Longnecker and Alice Bitticks Longnecker. She was a Methodist. She is survived by her husband, Max Horton; two daughters, Sue Mason and Rebecca Moore both of Forrest City; a son, Max Horton Jr. of Southhaven, Miss; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Horton will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Morgan Chapel, with Elder A.G.
