Esther M. Thorson

Mrs. Harold Thorson was born Esther M. George, daughter of Allan and Mary George, on Jan. 15,1906 in Humboldt. She passed away at her home Feb. 11. 1950, in her 45th year.
She grew to womanhood in this - community. attended the Humboldt schools and lived out her life here. She was baptized at the Corinth Lutheran church. May 11. 1913.
She was united in marriage to - Harold Thorson at New Hampton . on April 10, 1937. To this union four children were born all of whom survive her. Her mother' preceded her in death.
She is survived by her devoted husband. Harold her four children: Blaine, Bryce. Kent and Judy, her father and step-mother. Mr. and Mrs. Allan George: three sisters, Mrs. Helen Parker, Mrs. Grace Patton and Mrs. Edith Dunscombe; one brother, Frank George; two half-sisters, Dorothy and Darice; two half-brothers Jerry and Junior George: several nieces and nephews; more distant relatives; and many friends.
Her illness, of long duration, naturally necessitated much care. Her sisters Helen. Grace and Edith added their strength and time to that of her husband and family all through the months their loving and devoted hands helping to ease the distress of continued illness.
Mrs. Thorson was a loving and understanding mother and wife, her fine family testifying to her good example and wise mother-hood. Illness in a family is a rigid testing time for faith and love but it draws a family closer together in their common need. Such is the case here. Her memory will continue to bless and guide her family even as during her life, she watched over them. Contributed.
